TOLERANCE vs. Prejudice

Realizing that everyone is at varying levels of character development

Aspects of Tolerance

  • Look beyond appearances.
  • Accept People for who they are.
  • Help others grow in character.
  • Look at yourself first.
  • Do not confuse what is right.

© 2005 Character Training Institute.

Horseshoers and veterinarians have varying levels of education, business skills, and hands on experience.  All those working in the horse industry need to show tolerance for the level at which each individual is working.  Those working at the higher levels need to encourage and mentor so the industry evolves into the future with skilled and knowledgeable professionals.

FITNESS TIP…

Are you dieting this summer?—

Consider having peanuts or peanut butter for your next snack.  A study at Purdue University found that an ounce of roasted peanuts or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter kept participants full for 2 ½ hours compared to a typical portion of other snacks, such as rice cakes, which only satisfied hunger for a half-hour.  Plus, peanut eaters did not add extra calories to their diets.
