Farrier Appointment Service Team, Inc. is excited to offer this first of its kind service to individual farriers and is committed to giving you “good ol’ fashion customer service!”

To apply for our service, you need to request an application packet from us, fill it out and return it. Below we have answered some frequently asked questions about our company. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call us.

Is the cost of your service expensive?

Absolutely not! On average, how many horses do you shoe or trim per month? Divide that number into the monthly fee you would be charged and increase your shoeing cost by that amount. (Example: I have 50 customers. My monthly fee would be $350.00 per month. I shoe 60 horses per month. $350.00 divided by 60 horses = $5.83. Your shoeing fee per horse can be increased by just $6.00 to cover our service.)

You also need to remember that our service is tax deductible! It’s the cost of doing business.

Is there a service contract or agreement?

Yes. Along with the application packet is a one year service agreement. You must sign this service agreement and send it along with your application. Your first month with Farrier Appointment Service Team, Inc. is FREE and you are under no obligation to continue with our service for the year. However, you must contact us in writing before the second month of service to terminate our service and make your agreement null and void. Otherwise, you will be obligated to the one year service agreement.


Who notifies my customers and what information do you need?

The application packet will ask for specific information on your customers that you will supply. This will enable us to give them complete customer service. Their information is confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside Farrier Appointment Service Team, Inc. without their or your permission. A letter will be sent to each of your customers from Farrier Appointment Service Team, Inc. informing them that you have become our client. They will be advised to call our toll free number to schedule, reschedule, and/or leave messages for you. We will also do a follow-up call after they have received the letter to see if they have any questions. 


Can your services be customized?

YES! We know everyone does not fit into the same mold. We will be happy to adjust our services to fit your needs.


Do I have to pay long distance phone fees for me and/or my customers?

NO! Our service will be offered nation wide. You and your customers will have access to a TOLL FREE number to contact F.A.S.T. ™


How do I get my messages and schedules?  

When you have become a Farrier Appointment Service Team, Inc. client, we will discuss the easiest and most convenient method to get your day’s new schedules and messages. You are most welcome to call us during the day just to check in. At the end of the day we will prepare a fax or e-mail about the day’s activities for you or you can call in during business hours to receive them verbally. 

If you have received a message from a customer, you have the option to return the call yourself or have us return the call for you as per your instructions. 


What if my customer has an emergency?

When your account is being set up, we will ask you how you prefer your customer’s emergencies handled. Emergencies will be handled as per your instructions.
